: Need a quadrajet Carb

I am looking for a mid 70s Quadrajet Carb for a 350 chev.
Theres lots of junk on E-bay so I thought I'd check here first.
The Carb numbers should be similar to below.
The years I am interested in will have an 8 digit code.
If you know of a good source or link, I would be thankin ya !

Long as it starts 170 I would be intersted.

I bought mine from the local parts store for I think less than $150;)

They work great, I took Dillulio (a Jeep guy from NY) out wheelin yesterday and he thought I had FI:D

$150??? Yeek. I bought my last one from a junkyard for $20. Rebuild kit was another $25. Add in getting the baseplate butterflies rebushed for about $75 and they are WAY cheap. 2 years and going great with this one.

ANY local yard will have them, as cheap or cheaper than Ebay. 1/2" socket and 20 minutes and you'll have one too.

When ya get the q-jet, lemme know.. I reversed mine (secondaries up front), and it runs perfectly all but the steepest grades... even downhill!

It just dont' like to idle when you're 30* over and 30+* up, but it still runs!
