After assembling this thing, I have concluded that this press is a little on the short side.
So, has anyone added a lift? Got pics for ideas?
Thanks.

Yes, anything built in China in the shop has to be lifted nearly a foot. Nothing spectacular, just cut some holes for rosette welds in the legs, lapped over some channel and welded it up. Added diagonal supports to the base too. I'll snap a pic next time I'm in the shop.

Was gonna say the same thing, his press went thru several "phases"

I did the same thing, and added castors as well. Used some 4x4 box tubing with cross braces for the main bottom, and then some 4" dia castors. Works great, and I can move it around the shop easily.

just turn a 5 gallon bucket upside down and sit on it. its the perfect height and you get to sit while working. double bonus.
