I have a 1973 edition of one and it has a complete chapter on rebuilding both the SM420 and the SM465. cwate 10-01-2001, 11:10 AM Go to your local library (or friendly GM dealer), and photocopy the tranny section from the factory service manual for whatever GM truck had the tranny you're working on.
