What came under a '77 Dodge Warlock with the 440? An Internet search isn't coming up with anything.

not sure. The only thing the seller knows is the chassis is from a '77 Warlock with the 440.

it's probably at least a 200 if it has the 440, it most likely has a 60 or 70 rear with that much power under the hood.

it's a 4x4 chassis and I'm interested in buying it for the axles

Sounds good. I believe it was a D60 rear and D44 front. Don't quote me on that though.

Why would you cut up a warlock for the axles? You do realize that they are worth money, right? Search around and see what they are going for and it might be worth picking up and selling for a profit. Of course that would be assuming that the truck isn't destroyed...

don't worry. I'm not going to cut up a Warlock. It's only the chassis that's for sale.

My bet is for a small lug pattern unit bearing 44 up front and a corp 9 1/4 rear.

x2. I *think* that the warlocks were all 1/2t pickups, or at least according to the information I have found about them.

most likely d60 rear and d44 front.. w200 almost always came with d60 rear in 3/4 ton and 44 front... 1/2 is most likely a 9.25 but you can tell just by looking at tthe axle housing itself.. they're look tottally different..
hope this helps..

do a google image search of a D60... if thats what it looks like thats what you have, if it doesnt look like that then you have a 9.25...

The warlock was a half ton stepside, 9 1/4 rear and 44 front, I believe the only engine options were 318 360 and 400, depending on the year of the truck. I dont believe a 440 was ever offered in a 1/2 ton 4 wheel drive.

You could get them in Ramchargers, I'm pretty sure you could get them in the 1/2 ton PUs as well.

You need to tell that to the one I'm looking at right now. '76 W100 Club Cab (1/2 ton) with a 440, 727, NP203, D44F Chrysler 9 1/4 rear.

The D44 front axle that they used has rather weak "unit bearing" hubs which don't handle large tires or offset wheels well.
