I need to rebend my skid plate back to original. Or as close as I can get. It's been abused pretty good. (arrows) How am I going to do this?

heat and a BFH

1. Flip skid over & place on ground.
2. Place 4x4 blocks under each side of skid.
3. Place High-Lift jack in center of skid.
4. Jack up truck untill plate deflects 1/4" in opposite direction *.
5. Lower jack and inspect plate, it should be flat if not see step 6.
6. Buy new skid plate.





* footnote. If weight of truck is not enough to bend plate apply even heat with blue wrench untill plate bends.

Next get that big hammer out of your box...

Beat it like it you really want it....

Then inspect your work next to the rig...
