Alright, here it is. My wife is making me be more responsible and get something the family can use!!!! The following is the description. Single seat tube chassis, 4-wheel hydro steering, Dana 44's w/ 5:38's, Detroits, 4 CTM U-joints, 8 Mosser Shafts, 38.5 Swamper SX's on Trail Ready Beadlocks, Turbo R151 tranny w/ short throw built by Marlin Crawler, Dual Marlin Ultimates Turbo x-fer cases w/23 spline output shafts (248:1 crawl) also built by marlin. New 22RE injected motor. It is the only one in the U.S. like it and was built to make the average driver able to compete w/ the pros. It weighs 2200lbs and is invited to compete in the "Supercrawl" world championships in Las Cruces New Mexico. Also, 4-link Sway away coil overs and custom Mastercraft seat. The list is too long! Let me know if interested. RUN DOG

dude youre obviously a handy guy since you built that thing, so heres what i would suggest.

you should have no problem selling that thing for 20k.

buy an older land rover series truck (ex-military 109s are a great start) for around $8000. you now have 12 grand to dump into that rover to make it a kick ass rig.

D90s are great, but they are basically the same as the older series truck except with a few more modern upgrades.

whether its the series or 90, you will probably end up ripping out the whole suspension and drivetrain. the bodies look so similar that to the casual observer the difference is minimal.

so you could either get a decent 90 in trade for your tubie, or you could sell it, and build a kick ass trail rig/camper/general purpose wheeler.

Damn! 2200lbs? That's durn near what my wheel/tire/axle combo weighs...Wait a minute...148lbs/tire x 4ea = 592. Front axle: 640lbs...Rear axle 550lbs...Total 1782lbs

Phew...For a minute there I thought it was heavy!

Run Dog...Should have caught me last year. I might have considered it. If I were you I would post on some other boards if your really serious about a D90 trade. The D90 list on yahoo would be a good place to start.

haha, not completely relevant to his post, just giving him my .02 about the D90, IMHO if he's just trying to have a trail only rig for the fam the 90 is not the way to go. I think it is best suited as an on/offroad vehicle as it is just too damn expensive to modify and fix. Of course that is unless you're a madman like you and have the balls to chop it up and make a badass truck out of it.

P.S. oh yeah, i also told him i'd consider trading my bronco for it  :D
