Ok, ok, I tried the "search" function and one thread came up with one pic. I am looking to put full width d60/d70s under my XJ as one of my winter projects. I AM keeping the coil spring setup.

I would like to see some pics if there are any out. Any things I might have to look out for? I am concerned if there is enough "tube" to mount the coil spring buckets on and keep the axle centered under the rig or am I going to have the long side cut down? I currently am running longarms on it, which is why I would like to keep the coils. Any suggestions?

thanks,

ken

I should have mentioned that I am also planning to "build" a box frame to set in the unibody rails and tie in a full rollcage from bumper to bumper. This should strengthen the unibody enough to be able to handle those types of axles. :)

what tires are you planning to run with the rear 60/70? id probably go with a hp44/9" combo.

Right now I have enough room for 36s, but I would eventually like to run a 38" tire. Hence the need for a 60/70 or 14 bolt combo.

I would stick with a 44, and if strength is an issue, pick up some Warns and CTM's. Part of the concern with a 60 is having enough space on the driver's side tube for the LCA and spring perch. It's close enough with the 44.

Check this page out - I have a Full Width 44 under my ZJ... these pics are from Saturday's run.
