Just got back from Kansas City.
Most of you know that i was competing in the nationals in the welding catagory....
2nd place
got so nervous for the TIG my hands were shaking too bad to do good welds so i lost it in the TIG.
I know to be ranked 2nd in the nation isnt bad but i wish it would have been first. :( / :D

In autoracing, "Second Place is the first loser!"

Screw that, I say you did one hell of a job!

Now, find a good job with the government!:usa: :smokin: :flipoff2:

When you get older you will have the shake whether you are nervous or not.

The trick is to just work it in to your weave pattern. :D

A great big Texas size congrats..!!!!!!!
Practice breathing real deep and try take to concentrate only on the weld, you can overcome the nervousness, I know.

Way to go Fixxxer. I'm just in my first semester of welding at the local Votech. A lot harder than I thought. And damn hot here in Louisiana.:mad3: We started out cutting and now we're stick welding. Makes me miss my MIG. So much easier in my opinion. As for the TIG. Wow, now we're talking using both hand. Anyways keep on burning em.
