Hey all,

I can get a 6 gallon pancake compressor (craftsman brand) for $60.

SCFM Delivery At 90 psi: 2.6 SCFM
SCFM Delivery At 40 psi: 3.7 SCFM

I have a 60 gallon for the garage, but looking for something portable to throw in the suburban to fill occasional tires, rafts at the river, etc. Nothing big (have to be able to throw it in the wife's Honda) - but something I can plug into my inverter and use. Suburban is DD - Jeep has York for on-board.
Anyone know the amp draw on these things? Wondering if my basic 300w inverter is enough?

Would a more powerful tankless be better?
I don't really need it, but seems like a good price for something that you wish you had at those rare times...:shaking:

u will need to go to a store and look at the sticker to find the power ratings.

I highly doubt a 300w inverter will work for it.

I've got that same compressor, if it's on a cord longer than 50' or if the circuit has anything else plugged in it won't start, it will start with my generator (4200 watt) but it struggles a bit. I don't see it working off of a 300 watt invertor:laughing:
