New years weekend our crew drove up to Salem, MO to Flat Nasty Offroad park. It was a little cold but not too bad. When we pulled in the park owner Ron asked us where the hell we had been cuz he was ready to ride! This was gonna be good. After quite a bit of fiddling around with uncoperative rigs and stragglers we were on the trail. We had a few minor mechanical issues but managed to stay on the trails, guided by Ron, until almost 8:00pm. This place is great. From slick steep climbs, technical rocky climbs, small rock gardens to BIG ROCK gardens you will definitly find what you're looking for. Sunday brought more of the same with a night run with John from Marko. He ain't quite right in the head ya know. He was going balls out on some really slick climbs with no lights just a hand held flashlight. Big fun. Try the giant motocross track for some airtime and heads up racing.
