I have been searching to try and find info and pics on porting a 79 Bronco box for hydro assist. Any direction
to where I can find it would be great.
Thanks,

Yes I do. I have a buddy who's family runs a hydraulic company down here. He had a demo one in his truck and just gave it to me. 2" bore 8"stroke I believe the name on it is Delavan Power Max. I had a 79 Monte Carlo setup for my Willys but I am using that Saginaw pump on the Ford, with the 79 Bronco box, steering a 79 HP D60 off a SnoFighter.

Thanks OX.
Looks as though the pics of the 2 (Ox & Hav2) are in opposite locations, however they are both ported into the same passages.

That is for an 80 up box, not 78/79, although still somewhat usefull.

That has a ton of info in it. Good article with a ton of pics.
Wish there was something like that for a 79 box.
Still lots of good tech though.

if u take the box apart its easy to see how the ports work, and u can drill and tap them in alot of different spots as long as u drill one on each side of the "piston" in the box. i did mine in those spots so it wouldn't get in the way of anything else. so just figure out what works the best for u. and take your time and do it right.
