It seems to be the only caliber not insanely inflated these days (even 7.62X39 sucks ass). Where to get a cheapo WASR-2 or other AK-74 pattern rifle these days? AIM had them for under $200 but I was too stupid to get one at that price, and now I wish I had. I am thinking of stockpiling 10K of ammo and a decent gun or two to shoot it out of since nothing else (except .22, 9mm, and 12GA) is affordable to shoot anymore.

Nowhere - I'd order all you can afford to order if that is what you are making your judgement on. I'd also call ahead and see how much they have left :D

I know Wideners showed a bunch of that shit on their website a while back and my buddy called - was not accurate. Think they had it for about $145 a case.

BTW - it's corrosive. (Not that it's a huge deal - I shoot corrosive through my Nagants a ton - just warning you to prep for it)

Edit: About $0.19 a round is about as cheap as I've found 7.62x39 anymore. And about $0.17 for non-corrosive 5.45 -- Oh, and let us know if they actually have some because I'll buy a shit-ton as well and build a gun for it :D

AIM is very good about being accurate on their website. I'm sure they have a lot of it in stock. I don't mind corrosive shit either, I shoot it in my Mosins, PSL, and CZ52 anyway. I just think it's cool that there is still a full powered centerfire cartridge that isn't $.20-.50 a round yet. Don't buy all of it from AIM, I am thinking of getting about 10K rounds of it. :D I already stocked up on 7.62X54R when it was $.12, and got a bunch of 30-06 (CMP still has it cheap, too).
