Ok guys i have tons of directions i can go and need a little help deciding the best route.
The candidate : scout 800
Current specs, 4 cyl, dana 30 front weak, weak, weak but a good body.

So the choices;
I have a blazer frame with 350, th350,could be 203 to 205 doubler, 44 front, 12 bolt rear.

Scout II frame, scout II axles.

Yj springs.

Ideally i am thinking spring over, slight stretch on wheelbase, 36's.

So yj springs? Chevy springs? scout II springs?
Keep 800 frame, put it on the scout II frame?

Thanks guys. Yeah i have searched around, but nothing says "yes or no".

Put the whole Chevy drive train in. Chevy springs SOA. Upgrade to full chromolys and don't run any bigger than 35's. Sell all that other stuff (if you have it) and put it towards your 1 tons.

Done.

Keep the 800 frame and modify that to run whatever springs and axles you want to use. That way if something breaks you don't need custom stuff to fix it.

When I put the sbc and auto in my 80 I left the crossmember in. Everything its, but my rear driveshaft is going to be very short, so I'll probably stretch it in the rear.

This has been covered a cagillion times.

Do the Blazer drivetrain, ditch both sets of axles for 14B/D44.
