He has way more then that in scrap and cores in that thing.

If it is not a runner that looks to be a Chrysler industrial flathead which is worth more then a 100 as a core even if it is locked up to a place like Foley Engines or such. They will even pay the freight to pick it up; old industrial engines hold value because often long after the engines and hard parts are no longer easily available they equipment they powered is in place or serviceable for far less then the cost of a new unit.

Run the numbers on the generator, it may be valuable to a rebuilder as a core as well, I just got 1,100 per motor for some German electric motors I pulled out of a machine I scrapped. If not pull the copper out of the generator, copper out of the radiator and scrap the rest as clean steel and you will be much farther a head the $100

Hell, that thing could probably go in a museum somewhere too.

From the funny but true file I recently hear of an equipment manufacture having paid big dough to get S/N #1 of one of their products...

do you remember who it was by chance? the place I now work for (old co. got bought out) bought back their first unit made, restored it, and put it in the lobby of the main office bldg.

as for the welder, i bet you could easily make a few hundred out of it.

If still available, I'd love to get this welder if we could work something out. My dad had one like it when I was growing up. Rebuilding the Chrysler was my first experience with an engine overhaul. I'm in Lexington, KY.
