The trails vary in difficulty....nothing up there is as hard as the Hammers. We've been going locally almost every weekend, I'll make another thread before the next run for sure;)

What were you guys driving?
UKJeeper, myself with Co Pilot and a buddy from my Cruiser club had a pretty good time out there. We ran up Odessa Canyon, nothing too tough but pretty fun. We had a great time checking out some of the MANY mine shafts up there, planning on another trip out there when it starts cooling down;)
drnut 07-06-2002, 08:35 PM What were you guys driving?
Well i am driving an 85' Yota that is in the begining stages of being built. It has 35's but is still open and 4.10s. My buddy drives a Taco with 33's but he has done Odessa many of times.
I couldn't make up my mind but according to the weather channel it was going to be 105 up there, and not having AC or a fully tested rig persuded me to stay close to home. We ended up running the last half of Cleaghorn, Deep Creek, Holcomb Creek and White Mountain (what a day!!) not very hard but nice to break in a new rig on. I really like Calico and will be going up in the early part of fall. Right now it is just too hot for day running.

Well keep me informed of when you guys go up. I would like to tag along next time!

was that little climb (waterfall) near the end of Odessa still a "squeeze to get through?? I lost a front hub on the right side for some reason well before that and figured out it wasn't pulling as my roof slid into the left side :D
