7/8 14 is NF, but rod ends are 7/8 18. It,s not a standard thread thats why I'm haveing trouble getting one.

RH is available from several sources although not commonly stocked its a order item, about $100

the LH I think is acustom made deal, and costs alot more.

someone with a lathe should be able to cut them

Ive got a RH tap, but a buddy has a lathe at home, so I might cut one end RH and the other LH as it should be to adjust the toe in with the rod ends in place.

other wise I had planned to RH both ends and loosten one rod end to adjust toe.

Check MSC industrial supply or Enco industrial. They've got "special" taps and dies. ("special" indicates that the tpi is not standard national fine or national coarse...for those that didn't know)

I checked the ones I have and they are 7/8 14, I looked at the QA-1, NMB / NHBB, Aurora , FK, National , Heim , SKF catalogs and every one of the 7/8 rod ends is 14 TPI. Not trying to be an ass, but,,, Are you sure what you have is 7/8 18 tpi? I suppose there is one of everything somewhere out there, just never seen a 7/8 18 TPI rod end, nor can I find one in a catalog. Must be a secial order deal, or from a supplier I can not find. Good luck finding a die for it.

Again, not saying they dont make such a thing, just new to me. What brand are those PN? What type /style are they? I've tried a few searches with the PN and get no hits?

Ok I see now, why I can not find that PN, it's a tie rod end.. NOT what was being discussed here. We were talking about rod ends.

PN ES2027L and ES2026R are Tie rod ends, or at least on the two Car parts search pages I found, TRW and Moog
