OK I am in the market to install a better Brake Controller. My Dodge 3500 came with a Drawtite pos and I am not going to use that with my 30' 15K goose.

The 3 I am looking at are the Prodigy, P3, and the Odyssey. Is the P3 worth the extra $$ for an electic setup. I have heard a few good reviews on the Odyssey also. I know the prodigy is a good unit. And, no I do not want to spend the Money for a Max brake or any others that tie into the Truck's brakes.

I have the Prodigy in my 04.5 3500 and I love it, I had one before in another 04 3500 and loved it too. Never any issues, easy to setup and works awesome for the price.

I've always used a Prodigy and have never had any problems. When I bought my new truck, I looked at the P3 and it does look nice, but I couldn't justify that much more $ just for looks with the Prodigy has always worked great.

Is there any more features on the P3 compared to the prodigy other than the Electric over hydraulic option for larger trailers.

The adjustability is easier to use. It is most beneficial if you tow different trailers frequently. I love my P3 and I changed from a Drawtite as well.
