I picked up the SDS kit for my buggy and have a few questions for those that have one installed.

Where are you putting the water temp sensor? It is standard thread. Is an adapter needed. I still want to keep my gauge sensor where it is.

What are you usingto block off the cold stat injector hole once removed. Anything common, may have to just solder the banjo bolt shut.

Thanks, All else is good so far. Need to get everything ran and get into it.

We put the water temp sensor right below the thermostat housing, there is a hole that we tapped out I think it,s 3/4 pipe thread. For the cold start on the fuel rail I picked up a short bolt and used the copper gasket.for The other hole I used a block off plate with a threaded hole in it and mounted the manifold pressure sensor in that. This is on a 22RE hope it helps

Is the water temp sensor spot you refer to the one up front below the intake. 2 sensors side by side, One on the left I know was water previously. I can tap that one out. That is the one I was leaning to. Now I just need a tap that big.

Need to find me a fine thread bolt to get in that fuel rail. More searching.

I have the ECU in a nice Weigmann weatherproof enclosure with all the other electronics.

Need to find a good spot for the coil packs and I should be good to go.

Also can the TPS be turned around so the wires are facing rearward. I seen a couple of pics with them like that. Didn't know you could do that.

you should be able to get the tap at any hardware store...I didn't have to drill it out or anything, just jammed it in there...for the fuel rail I used the same bolt and put a nice clean nut in between the washers,no leaks yet...

post some pics of you installation

make sure you get it wired and adjusted correctly..that seems to be a common mistake(myself included) also that the tps itself is working properly,3 out of the 4 I had were either gummed up or not giving a complete signal
