I bought a 88 Zuk a week ago that has been setting up in a garage for a while. The clutch is out (broke in half) and the flywheel is shot. I have spent the last week tring to find a flywheel with no luck. Was thinking bout putting in an Iron DUKE in there, or is the stock moter just about the same?. I live bout 45 min. from Disney OK and can't wait to get it on the rocks.

hi guy
i just did the 1.6 tracker swap and i like it the best thing that a sammy has going for it is its light weight its light weight is what allows it to get away the things it does swap in an aluminum 1.6 you wont be sorry you can run the 1.3 intake and carb it bolts right up{i have the webber though} but i would run the side kick
axaust manifold and down pipe {you see it is a cast header and with the stock down pipe it make a cheap tri y header that woks really well} were the 2 down pipes join together{keep that stock}and the go 2 inch the rest of the way too the tail pipe
now as for the dist you will need to swap the 1.3 dist houseing on to the 1.6 head {it bolts up perfectlybut it has to be the 1.3 houseing the dists are different} dont mess with the 1.3 its an under powered p.o.s.i ran one for three long yrs and ive been kicking my self in the ass for not swapping sooner also you can run the 1.6 efi if you get the wireinf harness and ecm send the harness and ecm to brent at trail tough and 400 bucks later you will be able to hook like six wires and have efi sound sweet?

Draven,
If all you need is a flywheel drop me a line (PM or e-mail). I've got an extra, and I'll bet Russ does too. I've got LOTS of extra 1.3 stuff.... :)
I see you are new to the board. If you'd like to see a 1.6 conversion, come out to Disney Saturday. There will be several of us out there, including Jayson and myself. This is final testing/wring-out before zookimelt.. :D

Damn I had to read this three times to make sence of it because there is no puntuation marks in so I almost ran out of breath trying to read it so please use puntuation the next time you post Newbie because you will get less trouble from the other if you do do not just type what ever is on your mind and read it over before you send it it makes more sence that way and people will be more happy to reply to your posts that will with a reasonable answer instaed of this rambling on!!!!!!!!!!
