66CJDean that is! :D

Did I recall sometime a while back you posting pictures of how you stretched the front of your CJ? I think it was either you or WheelinPiazza?

I've got a 76 CJ5, and I want to push the front end out 6-8", and I was thinking about either 1) cutting the frame just behind the crossmember/radiator mount/grill mount (to keep the steering box correct in relation to the axle) and adding some tube there or 2) just cutting off the front cross member completely and building one from scratch and "figuring" out the steering box location.

I thought you posted pix awhile back, but I searched and couldn't find any. (It was prolly close to a year ago).

Any pix or direction would be helpful.

Thanks
Out.

I think Deans is an all new frame!

I choppped mine in front of the T-case X-member and made new frame 16" longer on the front.

Do you drive on the street much? Is hydro an option?

I'm building a comp rig for the Legends class for ERoCC's. Can't go full hydro on it, but I can go assist.

The only time it will see the street is when I have the garage door open. :D
