Anyone have any ideas on a good donor for a pitman arm(or a place to buy a good quality new one) . I need one to fit a scout P/S box and it needs to be flat, about 6.75" center of spline hole to center of taper for the tierod??? What have people used that have done Scout P/S box conversions???

Anyone got one? I think one that fits the normal saginaw power steering box will work...

thanks,
-Brett

I think mine is off a Camaro...also check old Wagoneers too. You are correct, pretty much every Saginaw box (scout, GM, etc) all used the same spline count for the pitman connection. I had one that was like .5" drop and another that I used that was almost flat...mine is so tight to the frame at the heim bolt (as the arm swings) I had to flatten a frame rivet for clearance. :D

TJ Jeeps come from the factory with the one you need. 6" long and flat.

Most all of the places that bolt on 4" lift kits in your area will have a 5 gallon bucket full of the things....

I used to have one on my Cruiser when I was spring under.

I use the arm from a jeep J-10 (same as full size Cher...?)

Works great .
