Just wanted to say hello to everyone,
I am new to 4 wheelin' born and raised in NYC move to Utah in 2005
I got a scout in Oct 2007 which had it's share of complications - most I have worked through - still working on a few others.
I thought Binder Bulletin would be helpful with some information.
I decided to make this into a Sept. 11th Tribute rig with custom paint -so I posted a link on BB.org thinking who would better appreciate the design.
Sadly a Few took the link out of context and thought I was soliciting from them.
To be truthful I did post one soliciting post back in OCT. 2007 - this is a separate post.
In Jan. 2008 I got a website for the project online and I posted the link on BB.org. I thought others would enjoy the photo's.
Sadly a select few chose to focus on the donations Page - now referred to as A place for Friends - ( this is for friends I have back east to help with this project - it IS NOT INTENDED TO SOLICIT )
The few who focused on the donations page and not the homepage or the pictures accused me of using the community for SOLICITING from them (never intended as such but post was taken out of context)
Sadly leaving me a bit more precautious as one can imagine. A valuable lesson in posting threads and clearly defining your words.
( I have redesigned my webpage as a result - learning much from this experience )
one of the kinder reader suggested Pirate 4x4 as an alternate.
While I understand the Knowledge of International Scouts may not be as versatile as Binderbulletin I feel that it is best to be in the company of good folks then to be where you are misunderstood or not appreciated.
I understand being new that I may come under criticism for some of my posts, or be ridiculed or made fun of. Part of being a newbie I guess. I only ask that if you feel strongly about something or think something but are unsure drop me an e-mail I'll be happy to clarify as best I can what I am trying to say or what information I am seeking. ( please don't assume when you can merely e-mail me for more information is all I ask )
I look forward to contributing when I can and learning when I can.
Thanxs.
