I did it! I sprang for a new hydraulic tubing bender! Ok so now I got that excited but sick feeling for spending more than I should have. But hay it’s a tool for life right? Isn’t it amazing what excuses we use to justify getting something for our selves! (“well it will cost $300-500 for a nice built cage… so lets spend over 2K on the tool alone and do it myself. Ya that makes since!) (Dam I spent way too much on this thing.. Ok so I just wont think of it) I can hardly wait! JD2 is backed up on orders so I won’t see it for at least a month. Now my rigs will have full internal cages and exoskeletons w/ tube seats and tube… Ge ge ge ge ge ge ge ge ge ge ge ge

Any suggestions from current users of this tool? (Yes I have read the bending 101 great info!)

Here it is.. come to papa!

Geez, Mark, you were just ranting about buddies dropping by for a little free welding. With the new bender you are REALLY going to be a popular guy. Can I stop by and have you bend me up a cage -- it shouldn't take more than a few hours:D :D :D

In my rant I added that I have plan for the bender and the "I just want to bend a few things..." I am just going to ask the crew to kick down $100 each then they can have at it. You are right though, it will be a time thing on my part. As I stated in my rant if I get any good at it I may just pick up some bending jobs for the right price and !

Medusa, is this Jack Rice in Eugene?

Good deal. Ya I have looked at your web site you have quite the set up. If you are ever up in Portland stop by for a  over a cruiser fender or come to a Cascade Cruisers meeting any 3rd Thurday each month. We meet at 7:00 PM at Buster's BBQ right off I-5. (From Eugene I-5, exit 294, turn left over the HW and the BBQ is one block on the right.) Yes I know it is a ways to go, but if you might be up here anyway, you are welcome to stop by. Keep up the updates on your 45!
