I'm installing a Chevy kingpin front 60 cut down to 62 into my 94 Toyota pickup, and my question is on the front disc brakes. I have machined my hubs down to 5 on 5.5 (I have good reasons for this) but now I need to find a disc brake that will work for this set up? I'm thinking of an f-150 front brake setup, has anyone tried this? Can you use the stock 60 calipers with mounting bracket? Or use the f-150 calipers and fab a mounting bracket. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to maching out the rotor to fit over the hub...and then use a custom caliper bracket to fit on calipers....usually people use the Jeep/GM calipers.

Scott at Extreme Gear in Orangevale, CA had the brackets last year for $150/set...but he wanted another $300 to machine the rotors:eek:

Id like to take a look at your setup if ya dont mind. I should have some caliper brackets lying around here somewhere that may be able to be modified to work.
