: What size tranny cooler tubing is sufficient?

The stuff I'm looking at is 1/4" ID. I think this should be good, but I am curious what everyone else is running. BTW - Tranny is 700-R4 running to 28,000 GVW B&M cooler. Thanx.

all the factory 700r4 lines are 3/8 this is what i would run.the 700r4 is know to run hot anyway <IMG SRC="smilies/shy.gif" border="0">

Without going ballistic, the bigger the better. Heat is most definitely the enemy of transmissions and engines. 3/8 sounds like the minimum I would use.

I believe GM tubing is 5/16, the tranny has a restrictor to prevent the trans from running to cool when the converter is locked, but it would be prudent to run the largest line possible. Just my 2c, good luck <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
