been collecting parts for my SAS on m 98 2wd. gonna use stock dodge coils in my front coil buckets with a triangulated 4 link. what i want to know is has anyone here inboarded their stock stock 63s??? I searched and found nothing. Im most definetly gonna need a swaybar in the rear for towing duty. Flame away:mad3: if this is not worth it ill just shackle flip it.

I have my springs inboarded now but haven't ran them yet, probably a little different direction with my build than what u are headed. I wouldn't think that it would be that great for stability if u plan on doing some towing. Maybe someone else has some first hand info.

Where are you going to put the stock tank or are you switching to a cell?

If u are asking me, I am switching to a cell. I wouldn't see were he would have a problem with the stock tank by inboarding.

The 26 gallon stock tank rides the driver frame rail. That would put a damper on the inboarding of springs yea?

I went back and looked at my truck and yeah, it would be a little tight. But if he dropped the tank and then mounted the hanger it would probably be doable.

I am not actually going to put the springs inboard of the framerail, just inboard of their present location. they will probably end up directly under the framerail.

I don't think that'd be very stable for towing at all--big mistake.
Towing with a heavily modified vehicle is asking for a darwin award in my opinion.
