how bout in or around santa rosa any day of the week?

the mascelli brothers yard is open 7 days a week i believe, in petaluma, on lake i think its called
to get there coming from santa rosa, you get off the free way( no to sure which exit not from there) just get on petaluma blvd south turn left at Dst. right at second set of railroad tracks, and it will be bout 1/4 mi on your left
they have awesome prices, and a yard pull of random junk with lots of brackets

I've been looking for DOM in the SF Bay Area. The only place that I've found is Allied Iron in Belmont. Are there any other places that carry DOM?

I havent been here yet, but my buddy told me about a Van Bebbers(???) in Petaluma. Phone number he gave me is 800.862.4695 or 707.762.4528.

there is a salvage yard on Mountian View in Santa Rosa. I have bought steel and aluminum at competive prices. They can be a little cranky at times. Bring a sawzall.

Assorted steel and aluminum is pretty easy. Specifically, I am looking for DOM tubing, or is that what you meant? As far as I know, there is:

Allied Iron - Belmont, HSS, DOM, stainless, aluminum - high prices
Sims - San Jose, Hayward - Mild HSS, Angle, etc with an excellent selection of salvage and surplus steel in San Jose. - great prices
US Metals - Oakland - limited selection of mild, good prices
Alco - San Leandro - decent selection of mild, fair prices
Albany Steel - El Cerrito - good selection - high prices

I called Van Bebber steel in Petaluma. They do not carry DOM tubing.

Any others?

Mo-Fr 7:30-5, Sa 7:30-12 Nearly 6 acres of scrap & hardware. Great place, well organized. Good source of hardware also. Open Saturdays until noon. Somewhat expensive for scrap, but perhaps worth it for the organization, help, cleanliness of the place. No tube or DOM all other steel has a cut charge of $10. Definetly worth a visit
