Damn!! I've never been thrown out of that bar, every other bar yes, but not that bar. They let me get away with some serious shit, those boys are alright. That was several years ago btw, that whole town just aint what it used to be.

Best bar in Chico depends on what scene you are in for and what day of the week it is.

Find a bar (which isn't hard to do) and start drinking.

nope i havent done that. (yet) i tried to fight someone out front that i absolutely hate and i got rushed/jumped by the guys friends or something. pretty much i was getting chocked out/ kicked in the gutter and didnt know what was happening. i had a cig in my hand, (i dont even smoke but i was that night) i reached over my shoulder and put it out on whoever was behind me. go figure it was the bouncer an on hisneck. haha. i apologized through the window to the bouncer after the cops grabbed me and sent the guys that instigated it home but he was so pissed he could care less. the guy is newer an the other bouncers know i go there a lot and said its cool and to lay low for a week or so. its been 6 months now. bouncer still hates me an has also tried to fight me at joes, walked into normal friday and i shit you not was in there for no more than 2 minutes. didnt even get to order a drink....glad i didnt would have been a waste.

edit: by the way nice rig. id like to check it out sometime. is it wheelable?

Monday = Kerokee at Madison Bear Garden
Tuesday = 'Buck Night' (dollar drinks) at Relies
Wednesday = Tricycle racing at Madison Bear Garden
Thursday = 'Power Hour' (dollar drinks) at Relies
Friday = Bear/Normal/Relies... End up at either a house party or wood stocks pizza at 2am when the bars close
Sunday = sleep it off, Monday is around the corner

I know what ya mean. Seems like the cops are really cracking down as of the past few year and regulating everyone's fun. I remember the days when they used to close the streets off to vehicle traffic and let everyone walk around open container and all. Nowadays, on the big party holidays(st. Pattt's Holloween ect.) you can't even walk outside with snapple bottle.

And they don't even let ya have beer on the river anymore, but that's probably for the better though. I've seen a lot of drunken brawls on beer can beach, but I've also seen alot of tits too:eek:

Oh, I see. they've been talking about trying to ban it alltogether though. I actually haven't been down the sac since memorial '05, I usually hit up the butte creek huneyrun - much funner IMO.

But there are no booze allowed in Upper Bidwell Park which is kinda lame (even though people die there every year). We still bring booze to Salmon, Browns and Bear hole
