Ok I am looking for pics of front fenders trimmed for more clearance. I am going to open mine up and reconstruct the wheelwells. I rub my 35"s at full stuff and hope to run 37"s.

just go along with yur exo, and round it out at the bottom, by the way you have one of the sickest sj's i have ever seen!!!

I cut mine along the indent line from the flare.

I eliminated my fenders when I went to the front EXO for clearance, I like the look.

This was a stock 86 tin top. I swapped the sj410 clip just to keep people guessing what it was.

I plan to keep some kind of wheelwell or I would have just tubed the front out when I did the exo. I know I have seen pics of people doing a virtual lift and opening up the wheelwells but I cant find the pics anymore.

Probably not what you are looking for since you are running 37's and I only trimmed for 32's, but here is what I did. I cut the fender and remounted the flare 3" higher.

I can get more if you want. I ended up having to cut more out of the front corner.

I was thinking of something simmilar. After looking at mine closer I am going to have to trim back into the firewall or move the axle forward. The problem with that is if I go any further forward my steering linkage will bind so I need to move the box forward also. It looks like I might just roll the edges a little and stick with 35's for now.:shaking:
