Every different post carries a new number. I've read anywhere from 350 to 580. Has anyone weighted their 14 bolt with drums and with discs. I would like to hear from someone who has actually weighted theirs with either setup.

Thanks!

When I changed to disk I took the drums down to a salvage yard and they were 148lbs:barf:

Is that LBS or kilos? :flipoff2:

Who cares how much it weighs unless you are building a comp rig. If the 14 bolt has the price and beef that you need run it. If its over kill get a 9" or a 60.

The nice thing about large axles is: You don't have carry spares, therefore, you are saving weight afterall!;) :flipoff2:

Very true. I dont want to be out shoveling snow and winching. Do you really think that your 40" TSL's and Tera 60's are that much lighter than my 40" TSL's and GM60 and D70? :flipoff2: The winch is actually fairly light. Well, lighter than I thought it would be. Besides i took the carpet out of my Jeep so its lighter now. :flipoff2: :D
