I took the liberty of taking a pic of the SPL55-4x Vs. the 5-332x axle u joints. The forged SPL55 are not only cheaper but take a look at the cross shaft.

There not CTM's but at $35 a pop it is a hell of a deal.

the 5-733x joints I saw looked exactly like the spl-55 4x.They were both greasable and indentical..As a matter of fact one of the 5-733x came in a box that a had a sticker on the end of the box which said 5-733x;but, you could clearly see SPL-55-4x on the box under the tape..The other one simply had 5-733x..I looked them up in the spicer u-joint catalog and the 5-733x is listed as a spl-55 joint indicating the same joint according to the catalog.Price was the same $27.55 for a 5-733x or a spl-55-4x. I have noticed they are considerably different in appearence and price from a 5-332x joint which is what the top joint looks like in your picture and the bottom looks like a spl or 5-733x joint.Just my two cents.:D

agree with onetonwillys, that is a 332 on top.

Isn't the 5-332 more expensive because it is a dedicated wheel joint? And the SPL55-4X can be used as a wheel joint or drivetrain joint?
