That is going to be *really* tight. Not to say it's not do-able, but it's going to take some very creative bending.

The closest I have ever seen either used a dual-in dual-out cat, or didn't have cats at all with dual mufflers. Either way, there wasn't much room.

Regardless, if you can make it work, it should be easy enough to weld in a crossover... oh wait. Nevermind.... that 3rd HEGO can go in either one of the pipes downstream of the cat. It's just there to verify that the cat is working.

You can also just let it hang in the wind. It won't know the difference. Your other two HEGOs should stay more or less where they are.

Ok, on my Bronco I have 2 cats but its a single tube system. I only have 2 oxy sensors so thats a good thing. The 2 Oxy sens. are on both sides but arent hooked up.But yeah i have 2 cats running one after the other with about 7 to 10 inches of tube inbetween them. Im looking at having a custom Y-Pipe made to get rid of them both. But funding is kida tight right now.

I've got dual Random Technologies cats on my F150. They're supposed to be the highest flowing cats on the market. Best price I found was MORE Peformance (http://www.moreperformanceinc.com/index.htm) out of NC. Only 1 O2 sensor, before the cats, so it didnt mess w/ that. Its also pretty tight on mine b.c. i've got true duals all the way to the dumps, the mufflers pretty much touch and rub the driveshaft on certain flex.

I had dual cats on my Explorer but I replaced them with a single high-flow Dynomax. No problems at all passing emissions and I was able to tuck almost my entire exhaust system inside the frame rails.

If you have two cats on a stock single pipe, Ford actually considers that a single cat with two chambers. Any single chamber cat that is a "three-way" cat will work as a replacement. If you don't leave the rear O2 sensor plugged in the OBDII system will cry foul and probably report you to the government.

I have to have 4 :(

well 2 aftermarket I guess, but I'll probably run 4 since they are smaller. On that subject, where is the best price for a cat (one that will replace 2 factory)
