Timbren Suspension Enhancement System for your tow rig.

****Edit**** I just got a call from Timbren and got spanked!! I can not advertise our low price anymore. Please PM for your special Pirate 4x4 price

Increases load carrying capacity & helps keep vehicle more level hauling heavier loads & towing. *(do not exceed manufacturers gross rating)

Timbren Ride Control products DOES NOT effect a vehicle's empty ride quality, while providing protection against overloading, road shock, bottoming out, sway and broken springs. Front axle kits prevent front end nose diving and provide extra carrying capacity for snow plow applications. Together, these features provide a smooth, level ride, even with heavy loads.

Today's on and off road vehicles are well engineered with fine suspensions, built to do the job for which they were designed. However, many vehicles are overloaded, or drivers find themselves on bad roads or operating under unusual conditions where the suspension needs help. Timbren Aeon Hollow Rubber Springs were designed to meet these needs. Timbren ride control kits and suspension kits help to eliminate sway and bottoming out, get rid of axle hop, and give an even, level, stable ride, both while loaded and unloaded. Timbren kits are simple to install and require no alteration to your present suspension.

Unlike Air Suspension Kits or Helper Springs, Timbren Kits require No Maintenance.

The suspension kit is mounted between the frame and the axle. Timbren Hollow Rubber Springs work in conjunction with the existing suspension to improve your ride and to protect the vehicle against the effects of overloading.

Installation:

No special tools or skills are required to install your Timbren kit. Just follow the easy to understand instructions. Within a short period of time, you will experience enhanced handling and increased stability (both front and rear applications) on your vehicle.

Timbren kits are generally easy to install. A few kits will require drilling or welding & professional installation your vehicle. You can find this out by:

Clicking here Timbren Application Guide

And following the links to choose a class and manufacturer for your vehicle. When you find the information for your vehicle, click on the Part Number & a PDF file will display detailed installation instructions.

Listed below are the general steps for installing a Timbren kit.

* These are general instructions. (may vary by model) They are intended to be a general outline of how to install a Timbren kit. For vehicle-specific instructions, Open the Application Guide, find your vehicle in the application guide & click on the Part Number required for your vehicle, a PDF file will open showing detail installation instructions.

1) Raise vehicle, removing existing rubber bump stop if necessary
2) Assemble the Aeon rubber spring and the Timbren frame bracket.
3) Mount the Timbren bracket on the frame, using the supplied fasteners.
4) Lower vehicle

That's all there is to most installations of Timbren kits. Some vehicles are more complicated, and a small minority require professional installation.

Installation Tips for Light Duty Pick-ups, SUV's & Vans

Kits are designed to have a gap of approximately 1" for 1/2 and 3/4 ton vehicles, and 1/2" for one ton vehicles if you are installing a rear kit. For a front kit, there is usually zero clearance between the rubber spring and contact point. Be sure to check the clearances when the vehicle is empty, not loaded.

Warranty:
Timbren kits are warranted against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for the life of the vehicle on which the kit was originally installed. The warranty is not transferable and proof of purchase is required. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the failed part. Timbren will not be responsible for any labour or freight charges involved in the replacement of any product. Timbren shall be entitled to make its own inspection to determine the validity of the warranty claim. Timbren shall not be liable nor warrant the product in the event of alteration, misuse, overload, negligence or damage caused by others.

I got a price on a GMRCK25S from you. Thanks. I also emailed Timbren direct for some specs but never heard back. Maybe you can help. How tall is the GMRCK25S kit? It looks like it sits under the frame to the axle. I want to know if it rides almost on the bump or not. My truck has 142k on it. As soon as I hook my job trailer to it the hitch starts to drop. I was hoping the springs would be in contact right away.

Thanks. Scott

Can these be used as bumpstops on a Grand Cherokee? I have no problem fabricating the necessary parts to mount them.

They need to be able to survive this:

YouTube - cmk Airs Out The Turd at TREC #2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e56maKtwfrM)

If so, PM me a price for 4 that are big enough to handle SERIOUS abuse (imagine JeepSpeed), but small enough to fit inside the coil springs.
