I had a couple of strong grayhounds lastnight and bought one of these...

WTF am I going to do with it?

I have a D44 up front and the pinion NOT pointed at the t-case.
Fits a dline about 20" or so.

Rear C14 bolt. Purches will be welded on soon so I can point the pinion where ever I want. 41"

Last night I thought it would be a great idea to make my own rear line using some 2" tube I happen to have and the ends from the purchase.

What do you all think? Oh yeah. I'm fukass broke right now.

It's a 20. Or were those only available in 78 and 79? :D

So you just need a yoke, a little cut and weld, point that pinion up and call it done… or am I missing something.:rasta:

.....but then I called my driveline dude down at Inland Truck Parts and had him look some stuff up. Here's the info I got:
Big Nate: 3 3/16" across joint and 1" caps
ITP: 1310 series are 3 1/4" across and have 1 1/16" caps
So, according to that info, those shafts are smaller than 1310 series so I decided to pass on them.

I don't know drivelines... But isn't the 1310 Spicers smallest u-joint? for d-lines?

I don't really know drivelines either, that's why I had to call ITP. But i guess 1310 isn't the smallest, you seem to have one that is smaller.

I'm just wondering about the accuracy of the measurements vs. the accuracy of the specs.

I can't find a Spicer product outside of a steering u-joiunt that's "speced" as 1"

For 35 bucks... I'm going to try it. I'll let you know as soon as I receive it.
