So I started to try and dig out the hatchet sealant bondo job the body shop did around my new slider windows.:( I think I am just going to pull them out and put the old stockers back in. This guy took window sealant and tried to match the window frame to the body shape which as a cruiserhead we know that these windows DO NOT sit flush. I started cutting the stuff away but the top gasket is so gooed into this silicone shit that there is no way to clean it up. Also the little rubber wedges that center the window are fawked as well. I'm soooo bummed cause they look and work great. I do not remember who it was that owned the wrecking yard in Australia but is it possible to get new rubber gaskets and wedges for the windows or are they a writeoff?

Slon is it possible to install them with the OEM gasket that the glass ones use?
You know those box vans that Frito trucks/bread trucks are?
I replaced one of the windows in one for a customer, it came with kind of a universal rubber, you just sucked the glass in with a rope, cut the ends and sealed it with a thin bead of silicone.
???
Sounds like you need to find one of those pro glass guys, that come to your location, and let him look at it, chances are they will have a solution.
Most wrecking yards in my area know these guys, they cut used glass out and re=install them on site for them.
Theere is a solution...
