I have recently acquired a warn 6000# winch and was wondering what would be the best way to wire it to my battery. I have an optima blue top battery with top posts and marine style terminals. I know that you arent supposed to wire a winch to side post terminals on a battery but was wondering if the marine style terminals on my battery would be up to the task. Thanks for any and all input.

That's how I wired my 6K Belleview. Just make sure everything is clean and tight and it should be fine. I've had no problems in 2 yrs.
