: Mounting two 205's, one divorced...

If I cant afford a proper doubler....I am considering the viability of mounting two Ford NP 205s, one bolted to the back of the T-18, the other divorce mounted. Obviously the front one will have to be upside-down, and maybe even chopped up so it's not in the way of the oil pan / exhaust.

Can you run one upside down, does it oil ok?

How short a shaft can you run to the divorced? Does it have to have a slip spline?

Is this even close to feasable?

Use a Chevy 205 for the front one and the output won't be in the

way of the other one. A friend of mine has this setup in his rig

and it works great.

that sounds like an awesome idea, but WTF do you do with the other front output? i guess you could run a giant blender or something?

I have considered this also, but I don't think I have the room. The shaft will have to have a slip or you won't be able to install it. I guess you could do it but you would have unbolt the divorced case to remove/install the shaft, bad idea. I bet you could run a 8" shaft without a problem.

if you can fab all that other crap you could fab a doubler of your own, or dual tranny it
not a fan of hanging mutliple TCs all over the place, it would look so:rainbow:
