: groove patterns for TSL/SX?

I think for now, I have decided to just keep my 36x15 TSL/SX tires and just have them grooved (a buddy will do it for $10 each). This is not a sipe job, but the deeper grooves.

With zuks being so light and the sidewall ply on these tires being so stiff, it's hard to get folds and I want to help my traction some. I figure a nice groove job will help.

Any advice as to what NOT to do and what are some good patterns to use?

Also, not sure if this matters, but I have these on 15x10 rims. If I go to a 15x8 I know that will raise the ride a tad but it's cheaper to by some steel black 15x8 rims them go with all new set of 38" TSL's. Is that going to round the center tread too much going to a 15x8?

I'm running mine on a 15x8 rim and they seem to be wearing evenly. I've thought about grooving mine as well for a little most traction in the slick stuff and there was a post in general 4x4 on grooving patterns. I tried looking for it, but didn't have any luck.
