It's near Junction City. Stay away from the boobie bars around there, bad news.

Get ahold of Bones or MATTS on the board, they know more about the park. There is one open already, and another was supposed to open, but got shut down from the get-go because the locals didn't want "outsiders" in their town! Also, get on www.midwestcrawler.com. That is our(the midwest locals) website. Keeps us all connected. See you there...

Yeah, the new park was going to be located just outside of Mound City, KS. However, the locals banded together, hired some lawyers and put a stop to it. Could not get the land use permit, so the park a no-go.

I don't know jack shit man :flipoff2: I've tried to contact some of the folks with KC4WDA with no luck. Also inphobic here seemed to know quite a bit about it as well at one point.

There's a KC4WDA meeting the 13th. I hope to find something out from it

That's cause I'm on the board of directors for the park :D !

We are still working on it. not done yet cause the land is such a one of a kind piece here in kansas! when ever we get some good news you'll hear from us. We just were not of to task of dealing with such closed minded individuals.

They only other OHV area in ks is in Randolph, KS North of manhattan. I'll keep everyone posted of our progress when we have some.

You guys get legal representation yet? I talked to the attorney my mom works for, he wasnt interested, he's a never outdoors type anyway, he really wouldnt understand. You seriously need to do this if it hasnt been done, they are more likely to listen to one of there own (the politicians and such that is) then to a bunch of out-a-towners wantin to go wheelin in their town!!! Anything we can do let us know!

Thanks it was the Kansas Rock Park I was thinking about. Hope you get it open soon. Let me know if I can help, we have a pretty good group of wheelers in the Pittsburg Ft. Scott area that need a place to play

I like that attitude,"We don't want any outsiders in our town"

I bet at the same time these people are wondering why thier local economy has gone stagnant:rolleyes:

I hope you guys can get your park up and running;)
