Looking for a few trails to run in a few weeks. Went by the ranger station and everything by shaver is closed. Those are the only trails I know of. What else is around here. Not looking for anything crazy a little challenge and A few of the guys want to keep body damage down to a minimum.

Go up to Bald Mountain, it's as wild or mild as you wanna make it.

Do the Cheapo Saddle trail above Bass Lake, maybe you can find a local to show you Spirit World. Its kinda hard to explain.
Another very cool trail, is Big Shuteye Lookout, above Bass Lake, that is the most awsome trail I have ever driven for views. Its like wheelin Yosemite, you drive across a granite dome in one section, that is about 1500' down, and a 500' above you. The slabs at the last section, on the way to the lookout station, can be made challenging if you look for play areas.

How about Jose Basin? I have never been there myself so I dont actually know where it is (somewhere by Auberry) but I hear it is pretty cool. Call FWPW or Whiplash someone should be able to tell you how to get there. Clovis Overland or Fresno four wheelers put a run on there every year.

There's only a couple of fun spots on Jose Basin that I know of. Did they say why they closed Bald Mountain??

Whiplash is the biggest shop I've ever been in. Do they actually know how to shift a transfer case? The kid behind the counter just wanted to talk about how fast his truck was. Every truck I've ever seen with their stickers were than . Have they changed?
