I need Input...

I ordered my axle u-joints from Autozone...and I recieved the NEAPCO (CHEAPCO) joints. They came with the cir-clips that go on the outside of the caps...similar to driveshaft type of clips. They also have the zirk in them.

I can still use these right? If not then what fucking part number do I need?

Call me and order the high strength alloy ones that Dana spicer is making now. They are like $6 more than the chepies.:D

What axle is this

I assume (DANGER)....

the Spicer units come with the correct C-clip orientation? I really do not like the idea of tacking my caps onto the ears of my axles.

Thank You! Harvester form saving me from some sorrow. I almost went and ordered those joints from autozone. That saved me a headache I don't need. :barf:

But aren't they pretty good about getting their products to the customer? I ordered the rear bearings, and seals from them on a Saturday, and by Tuesday I had them.

Yeah they are quick alright....

I got a Bosch wire set, Plat plugs, cap, rotor blah blah blah and it came while I was in New York.

They also provided return postage labels for returns.

The U-JOINT part number that I ordered was:

1-0153: PDQ U-JOINT

Neapco joints are about as strong as Spicer's regular joints.

Have yet to try (read "break") one of the new Spicers yet. Thinking I want the OX Super Joints or CTM's next in conjuntion with alloy shafts
