Is it open yet. Will it be open? Anyone know?

I just road my motorcycle up to Stumpy Meadows Lk. on Sat. and the road after the dam was still dirt so I would have to say it is still closed.

They are going to be paving from Uncle Toms to Stumps next summer or maybe this fall.

says its still closed, scheduled to open in October.

I'd call and see if you can get a date.

I called the information station and they said that the road would be closed until the end of october or beginning of November. At that time the road will not be done from uncle toms to stumpy meadows, but it will be open. It will be paved from uncle tom's to Loon Lake. So much for using that way to get to the clean up.

I was hoping too. I moved up to Pilot Hill right after they shut the stupid road. I was excited because I thought that I would be that much closer. BUT IT'S STILL CLOSED!!!
