Was gonna put this in Chit-Chat but I figure it'll work here, have seen other threads about camping materials.

I want something like the stupid little green Coleman propanes you can buy at the local grocery for camping, but it needs to be refillable. I dont' like bending over and paying $3 for a tiny thing of propane when it's what, .80 per gallon??

I've got the adapter to refill from my BBQ grill tank and I've refilled these before despite the warnings not to but they leak! Hell, sometimes they leak anyway 'cause they're crap.

Have also looked at the taller cylinders at the hardware store for little torches but they also say "do not refill."

I KNOW there are little bottles rated/coded to be refilled, so where can I get a couple? I can refill for pennies vs paying $3 a pop for Coleman's crap.

my local farm supply has them. there blue and about the same diameter as the coleman's just a little taller. I've been using these forever, with my harbor freight special refiller.

Oh yeah you can also try back packing stores like REI, I think you can refill those MSR fuel bottles
