i know alot of the chevys, full size jeeps, and some dodges had a 6 lug pattern,,,i think all fords use a 5lug pattern,,,,,well,,i know they did on the f250 dana44. be aware that the spindle pattern might be different. it might have 6 studs,,but it may be clocked differently and your backing plate and caliper position will be fawked up.

How perfect do you need the measurement? I have a set of 6 bolt knuckles sitting on the bench in the garage......

I haven't checked the d44 in my garage, but I know that the d60 I am putting in my Jeep isn't regular. The studs have a funny offset that is different on each side so that I can't put the left spindle on the right side. Don't know why it would matter much, but it does.

The Chevy 44/10 bolts have 6 lugs on a "regular" bolt circle, the spindle can be "clocked". Not sure what the bolts circle is, but I do know that the drum brake knuckles (1970, at least) have the same pattern as the disk ones, but it is clocked slightly differently than the disk ones. The disk backing plate will not work on the drum knuckles, there is interference on the back side.

I believe its a 4" diameter circle. All six holes are evenly spaced at 60 degrees apart. Inner flange is 3 3/8" dia. Oh, I know this is true of jeep and chevy spindles, don't know about dodge and fords are way different.

yep, 4" circle. I just measured (with calipers even). Checked a couple of knuckles. Ranged between 4.365"-4.375" outside, with a .375" dia. stud.

I would say that 4.00" would be close enough.
