Good:
-258 6 cyl motor has around 90k on it(buddy swapped in the motor, didn't do a very good job, but it is in and running, most emissions bs have been yanked or plugged)
-Frame is straight with no rust that i can remember, which again tommorrow.
- 4wd works, and works great :thup2:
Bad: Where to start
The body is gone. Shot, rotted. So much rust, The outside doesn't look that bad, it when you get inside of it. The rear where the seat bolts up is nearly gone.
gear shifter doesn't stay on
Half the gauges dont work. Fuel gauge moves around but isn't right, temp guage doesn't work, i'm not sure about the oil pressure, voltage meter does work.
No side mirrors or turn signal lamos, may be able to get the signals pretty soon.
shotty exhaust job. Exhaust pretty much felt apart when i got, so i had a buddy weld it up for me. Loud, but it works.
No key(it is NOT stolen, or else i wouldn't have been able to title and insure it). But it does start and run. I don't know what happened, as he never told me, but i guess he stripped/lost the key or something so he took apart the ignition and found the slide. You have to move the slide back in forth to signal off, acc, on. Then a switch on the dash to start it.
Needs new rear shocks...back left has pretty much fell off.
hardtop had to be modified to fit. Rear window is broken(not the actual glass it self, but the hinges are borked).
needs paint.
I'm sure theres more.
no radio, though a radio is there along with an amp, can be working again pretty easily.
How it runs: I don't know. It runs and idles great on startup/cold. as it warms up it gets kind of bad. I retightened the exhuast manifold, as i replaced that earlier this year, but i had forgotten about the gasket, so im sure thats to blame. New battery also.
I bought it to get me through the winter, but i ended getting another vehicle aswell, so i decided some one else can make better use of it, i already have an offroader. I think i drove it to work for 2 weeks (50 mile round trip) before needed a radio again. Its been sitting for nearly 2 months now. Heat was awesome in it, i was pleasantly surprised by it. just started it up today, she started right up and purred. I forgot how much i like jeeps soley for being able to start up whenever.
I'll get pics tommorrow, it needs cleaned, as i never washed from the last time i took it out in the field.
$600 OBO. PM me with any offers. Would make an excellent offroader, tool around your woods deal.
