I am considering full width axles for the stability, but I still want to be able to drive it on the street. It isn't a daily driver, but are full width's going to be awkward, or is it not that big of a deal?
What are you running?

I wouldn't trade the full width on my FJ for anything....

Depends a bunch on your tires & rims. For example, a set of 15X14's with 3.5" of backspacing & 39.5" Boggers will be a lot more obnoxious than a set of 16X7's with 5" of Backspacing & 38.5X11's.

Full width is the way to go (my opinion) no troubles on the road.

No troubles with mine on the street either....except making it into some parking spots...but then again, who's going to say anything if your Swamper is partially in their spot

Do those even fit inbetween the road lanes?

If you don't like full width, you can use hummer beadlocks to backspace the hell out of them. I think they have like 6" of backspacing!

Mine are not akward at all and very stable, almost like they were made for the truck. Oh, wait a minute...
