Central Fla. Near Tampa. I am planning a run now as a matter of fact. It will be at Ocala Natl. Forest, in mid Nov. The date is not set in stone yet but thats the best I can say at this point. Prob will be the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving. If anyone is interested go to ColoradoK5.com, and look in the "Blazin Trails" forum for "Fla Run" by Pureinsanity. (Or E-Mail me and Ill try to fill you in. Tell me your from POR and what your screen name is here.THANX!) Best bet is to check the board and check back for updates, I am having trouble keeping up w/ E-Mail and P/M's about it. If your not a member there, and dont want to join, shoot me an E-Mail. I need to have a head count a week in advance to see if I need to get permits, so we dont get tossed out!

It is supposed to be a CK5 run but people are coming that dont have Blazers. I am bringing some locals w/ me that will be in Yotas, Jeeps, and Sammys. People will be coming from both ends of the state to meet in the middle.

I will also be doing a write up w/ pics for CK5 that will be on the site.

Boone, NC. Going to tellico in a few weeks to test out some new parts. sounds like everyone will be there this month no matter when you go.

If you go to www.tellico4x4.com (http://www.tellico4x4.com) they have a list of all the major events happening at tellico. But there are also a lot of small clubs that go out there throughout the year that are not listed on that page (for example my club).

Just like the sig says, Ground Zero! Nine miles from the Pentagon. Closest/soonest event is the 4Runner Jamboree at GWNF Oct. 19-21. All Toyota event. It's not real hard-core but it's a good time.

Atlanta. Be going up to Tellico Thursday for Dixie Run.
Lot of you saying your going up 12-14th. There is a Jeep Jambore or Jeep USA event going on that weekend. Packed in almost as bad a Dixie run I hear but with more "NEW Jeepers" with little or no experience (read as lots of parking for easy stuff). Also heard trail 4 has taken a beating this year and has some pretty serious rutted out lay your truck over against the muddy wall stuff.
Some folks that have been running there for years say tril 4 has never been this bad....or is that good? depends on you I guess.

yeah, trail 4 was getting pretty good when i was there in june. nice i live right next to tellico and haven't been since june.
Somebody else told me that trail 5 was upgraded to most difficult. Makes me feel a little better about rolling there from being stupid.
Everything out theres really getting worse than it used to be. Keeps people building bigger stuff i guess.

Chris H, where abouts in Ossipee did you wheel???
Did it happen to be a privately owned "mountain" that used to be used for skiing? right off of rte 16?
Just curious, I'm not far from there.
Someone local was planning a group ride there a while back, and it fell through for some reason.

Guys, speaking of Livingston KY, the 3rd annual "loving livingston" trail cleanup is this October 13th 9am-4pm. It is a great opportunity to show your respect for this area and to keep our trails open. There should be lots of 4x4 clubs and stuff there so it will be a good run. I hope to make it up there if I can talk some of my buddies into it. Anyone going? Here is a website:
