I've decided to swap a 6.2L GM diesel and 700r4 into my(92) Range Rover. I have most everything I need figured out except 2 things. 1. The input shaft diameter and spline count/depth, for the B/W 1361 that's in there. 2. What springs I'll use for the added weight up front. While the focus of this thread is to find out the aforementioned specific information about the Borg t-case, I welcome any information that somebody who may have already done this(or any sbc) swap has to offer.

IMO the Borg Case is not up to the task.

Lol well, that may be, but I'm not doing the swap to make a ton of power. Mostly the swap is for the enhanced mileage and simplicity of the diesel, combined with the fact that I need a new engine. Plus the GM 6.2l diesel has a ton of support in the parts market.

I'll sell you an input shaft for 40.00 plus shipping. You can reference the oil seal grooves to get your depth. Or use it to make a coupler. Marks through Advance Adapters sells what you want. But you may already know that.

That's a good idea, i'll definitely do that if no one has this info on hand. Thanks
