Has anyone ever converted to a hydraulic clutch out of like a mid 80's ford into and Early Bronco. I am thinking of doing this and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. like problems they had or things of that nature. Thanks in advance....

Search and you find a lot of info. Some of the bronco specific sites have covered this a few times also. Here is one link:

Search and post something that will help us both out.

I did it. It was really easy.

You have two choices with the hydraulic throw out bearing, internal or external.
I went with external, just in case if something happens on the trail.

Then I got a wilwood pedal assembly. Attached the two with some hydraulic line and good to go.

No more messing with all of that linkage and things.

when you say internal or external what do you mean. I got the motor and tranny out of an 87 f150 so shouldnt I be able to just buy stuff according to that year and just bolt it up???

External referrs to a slave cylinder out side of the bell housing, Internal is a hydraulic throw out bearing inside the bell housing. Your F150 should be an external slave cylinder. My 89 F350 also uses the external slave cylinder
