You don't like my truck? I did all the work myself. It took me months to design the steering.

probably means it came as a chassis truck. Meaning no bed.

I guess rust through is a minor cosmetic flaw in Delaware:shaking: Goes with the slightly damaged bumper I guess.

I think it was offered as a cab chassis option from ford. It was either stupid expensive, or they all rusted out, cause you don't see them too often - but I have seen a few.

maybe it has something to do with the rod holders in the bed?

The toolbox bed is a great way to use that empty space on the sides of the bed. Too bad they didn't use galvanized metal like the cab. Less than 10 years old and has holes rusted clear through while the cab still looks new... :shaking:

Knapheide makes something similar to that, but I couldn't find an exact match. You can check it out here: http://www.knapheide.com/products/kss/default.asp?selection=products&type=kss

I have a Knapheide flatbed on my 89 F350 and it's starting to be in rough shape now from rust, but it's 10 years older too.

That bed is made by Royal. My uncle has one. Nice bed, but I think it's on the heavy side. Utility beds are cool, but you have to make sure they don't become a bottomless pit of a catch-all.

If the dealer thinks that's 'Slight Damage,' I'd hate to see what he thinks major damage is. Looks like an angry rust monkey with a hammer went to town on that body....wtf.

sweet rust, sweet steering stabilizers, sweet tie rod and drag link bends, sweet body and bumper damage.

sweet....

(I do like the bed a LOT - but only without the major rust issues....)

I believe that is the right Royal. You can buy that bed mounted on a truck from a Ford dealer. If memory serves, it is 9' long instead of 8'. I bet that truck above is actually an F-350 single wheel though.

Who ever said it was a tree fiddy? It says 3 times in the auction that its a 250. Once in the title. Once in the vehicle info at the top of the description, and once in the pic of the window sticker.

Ya I read much:flipoff2: It also says it isn't a complete piece of shit, so we know this guy has no idea what he is talking about. I didn't notice the 8800GVW, yes it is a 250. Our single wheel 350 4x4 C&C at work is 9700.
